How does a Peel work?
A chemical peel works on the dermis and epidermis of your skin. The solution is applied on a cleansed face for approximately 1 to 5 minutes and then it is neutralized. A moisturizer and sunscreen are applied afterwards. This treatment takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Once you have completed your peel, you should avoid sun exposure, waxing, saunas, and working out for at least 24 hours. Some people may experience peeling or flaking 2 to 3 days after a peel, which can last 5 to 7 days.
How does it feel?
As the solution is applied to your skin, you may feel a stinging or tingling sensation. Once the peel is neutralized, your skin will feel refreshed!
How many treatments will I need?
To achieve optimal results, a minimum of 4 peels is recommended, 1 every 3 to 4 weeks. For acne, peels are recommended every 10 days for at least 6 sessions. Once you have completed your series of peels, you should maintain them to keep your skin looking and feeling great! (3 or 4 treatments per year).
How much is it?
The price of a chemical peel is determined by the size of the treatment area. Face peels cost $120 and back peels cost $170 per treatment. There are package discounts available.
